Weekly Sports Round-Up: Episode 2

During the week, exciting football activities went down and more will still happen this weekend. Every player who has been called up for national duties, will continue to boost their careers, maintain or rekindle great patriotism to the various countries they choose to represent.

Records were broken as various players and countries achieved what has never been recorded in the history of football, countries with great football history experienced shocking defeat by their opponents and entertaining actions occupied the world of football just days into the international qualifiers and other competitions.

Egypt Vs CapeVerde: After a dissapointing exit of Egypt from the last edition of the African cup of Nations, the Egyptians yesterday whipped CapeVerde 3 goals to nothing in a qualifying match for the next Nations Cup competition. With 15 goal attempts, 57% ball possesion, and 468 completed passes, their performance was measurably impressive and a win became necessary for the Egyptians.
Rami Hisham Rabia, Omar Marmoush, and Ibrahim Adel, got the three goals in the 23rd, 46th, and 70th minutes respectively.

South Africa Vs Uganda: It was a dramatic and tough one for the South African National team as they were forcefully held by the Uganda Cranes. At first, it was looking like a dead end for the one time African footballer of the year as Napoli football club under new coach Antonio Conte seemed not to be having any interest in the Nigerian forward. Transfer window pressure was beckoning and waves of career embargo almost made his move impossible but this move brought a feel of releief to football fans all over the world.
