FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP


The fixtures for the next FIFA Club World Cup have emerged. These international club competition fixtures were drawn during the week and will take place in the United States of America, next year 2025.

32 teams will battle it out and the final game will go down on Sunday 13th July 2025. However, the World international Soccer president, Gianni Infantino made comments on the upcoming event:

“The paths for the 32 teams have been set and we now know at what time and where, among 12 top-class stadiums, we will enjoy the 48 exciting group stage clashes.

This match schedule is much more than a list of thrilling fixtures involving the best clubs in the world. It shows that club football can, and will be, truly global. Let’s take it to the world.”

This week has been full of actions in the world of football. Top leagues, and league cups competitions were on top gear.
Manchester City recorded their new match victory again after many weeks of struggling in competitions like the EPL, Carabao Cup, and UEFA Champions League. The fresh return of Jeremy Doku and Kevin De Bruyne inspired the team’s confidence that resulted in the 3-0 home victory against Nottingham Forest during the week.

In the Italian Serie A, Atalanta’s dynamite performance was just what was needed to defeat AC Milan 2-1. Nigerian International, Ademola Lookman was again the hero. His excellent display got the winning goal for Atalanta.

Paris Saint German (PSG), again failed to get another 3 points from yesterday’s French League 1 fixture against Auxurre. The struggle started in the previous fixture against Fc Nantes that ended goalless. What could possibly be going wrong?
