After the 4th and 13th-minute goal from Spain, they were reduced to 10 men after Robin Le Normand got a straight red card for his challenge on Embolo. Capitalizing on the numerical advantage, the Swizz managed to pull a goal in the 41st minute as Zaki Amdouni scored from a close range.

Despite the circumstances that surrounded Spain, they remained focused and determined as they gained an all-round control of the game.
