African telecoms giants, MTN Nigeria, have donated 4,600 tablet tablets to the Nigerian government. This new digital learning platform, uLesson, is pre-installed on these devices with the goal of enhancing the educational experience of students in Nigeria. Secondary schools across the country’s six geopolitical zones will receive these devices.
The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment and the Office of the National Security Advisor are working together on this initiative, which aims to increase young digital literacy and education in Nigeria. In order to define beneficiary criteria and guarantee a smooth distribution procedure, the MTN team will work closely with the office of the Vice President of Nigeria, as verified by his office.
